A free digital zine surrounding our starstruck girls, Mizi and Sua, from Alien Stage.
MY MUSE is a SFW non-profit, digital, Alien Stage fanzine spotlighting on the romantic relationship of Mizi and Sua. This zine focuses on their relationship in the canonverse, starting from their childhood in the Anakt Garden to Sua haunting Mizi's narrative in present time.This project is organised by fans for fans. We are in no way affiliated with ALIEN STAGE, VIVINOS, QMENG or STUDIO LICO, nor is this officially endorsed.
Q: What is a zine?
A: A zine (pronounced like 'magazine,') is a limited-run, self-published collection of creative works usually centred around a theme/topic. A fanzine is a zine for fans by fans!Q: What are the specs for this zine?
A: 5'5 X 8'5, close to A5. While it is a digital zine, there is a possibility of a print release upon substantial demand.Q: Will there be an NSFW section?
A: No. MY MUSE is a SFW zine that will feature the darker themes of Alien Stage, such as blood, death, grief but nothing explicit.Q: Does the mod team have previous experience?
A: This is Head Mod Ezra's first time hosting a zine. Despite having no prior zine modding experience, she does have experience with managing projects in real life.Q: Can other Alien Stage characters be included?
A: Yes, but only has background characters. The main focus of all the pieces created for this zine should be Mizi and Sua!Q: Will contributors be compensated?
A: Unfortunately, due to My Muse being a non-profit zine, contributors will not be given compensation for their works.Q: I'm under 18, can I apply?
A: Yes! Contributors have to be 16+ by end of year to apply. If we discover that an applicant has lied about their age, they will be immediately removed from the zine.Q: Can I apply for more than one role?
A: Yes, but you will only be accepted for one (not including spot artists).Q: How many/What kinds contributors will be accepted?
A: This is dependant on the Interest Check results. Tentatively, we are looking to accept 25-30 page artists, spot artists, 4-8 writers, and 3-5 merch artists.Q: I have questions that were not answered, where can I ask them?
